Eyecare Plus Columbia

I am overall very pleased with my experience. Every time I go. The staff is always friendly, and the doctors are always friendly and the technicians. I never have to wait very long either. Everything is cleaned and sanitized before and after my appointments. Their prices are affordable for those who do not have insurance which is great every time I did not have insurance so this way I could so go and see them. Anytime I had any questions the staff would go out of their way to find the answers either by asking the doctor or asking the other staff members if the doctor was unavailable.

This office is the worst office I have ever had to deal with. They do not care about their customers. I would give them a Zero if I could . It has been one thing after another with this . I was told the day of the appointment a Full Price and I paid it. Only to be told when I picked up the glasses they had made a mistake and i owed another more money. Then my Granddaughter broke her frames. I carrier them in on Oct 30th. The employee called the main office to insure they had the Frames incase we needed to start over. they said they did. She placed the order while on the phone with the main office right in front me. I was told because is was frames only it would be a quick fix. 31 days later and 3 phone calls with each call giving me a different story, they are claiming now the order was never place. In one of the calls I was told the main office had to order the frames from the factory and that was the issue. Now they it will be another 2 to 3 weeks for the glasses. This will make a total of 51 days my Granddaughter has been with out her glasses. These are glasses that she needs daily. The Manager was condescending to me in calling me names after I told her to stop. I am sure this office has lost the glasses and they can own up to their mistake. Save yourself the head ache and go some where else.

The customer service was rude on our first visit. When returning because my daughter's glasses broke, awful service. The person refused to verify my insurance would cover a new set of glasses and when I called she was even worse. She made me make an appointment for new exams for the new glasses. I was so upset by the time I got home I called and made an appointment elsewhere and called the office and canceled my appointment. Fast forward, I found out after going to the new place that they were upsetting me and told me my daughters needed lenses that were more expensive. Long story short I spent $92 for exam, glasses, lenses and a warranty after going elsewhere, whereas I spent $800 for three people glasses at Eyecare Pkus and now I'm getting charged a $50 cancelation fee for each of my daughter's. I wasn't even aware that there was a cancelation fee and they can hold their breath waiting for me to pay it.

I didn’t have a prior appointment I was considered a walk in. I waited 10 minutes before I got put in the back. I waited 1.5 hours in a room before I got my eyes checked as they were packed. Every technician and eye doctor is very friendly and I got a pair of glasses at a decent cost compared to other eye doctor places. Can’t recommend them enough. Can’t wait to get my new glasses! Oh and they let me get a copy of my prescription without fussing about going elsewhere for frames!

Cassidy and Jayden the managers at the Columbia location have awful customer service! I went 10/27 for an appointment w my daughter to get her new glasses. I was told it would take 7-10 business days. I called multiple times to try to see when they would arrive. No updates at all. I kept getting the run around. They did not care at all that for almost 6 weeks my daughter had to go without her glasses. We finally received the glasses on 12/5. We have gone to this location for the past 3 years, and we will not be returning. Very disappointed!

I'm still waiting on my order from early August and so far calling isn't solving anything. But I'm learning clearly no one on this staff cares, as I've been told multiple times that they have to "Check the lab" and they'd call back shortly. I'm still waiting for those calls once I get this taken care of I'm done here. Don't waste your time folks, these negative reviews are legitimate!
